U.N. Court Convicts Former Serbian General
“A United Nations tribunal in The Hague on Tuesday convicted the former head of the armed forces in Serbia of crimes against humanity and war crimes for attacks on civilians by soldiers under his command during the 1990s in Bosnia and Croatia, including in the cities of Sarajevo and Srebrenica. The former military leader, Momcilo Perisic, was then sentenced to 27 years in prison.”
