ICC accused General Bosco Ntaganda surrenders

“Rwanda’s Foreign Minister, Louise Mushikiwabo, has confirmed that General Bosco Ntaganda has surrendered himself to the US embassy in Kigali.

Rwandan born General Ntaganda has been at large since a warrant for his arrest was issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) on 22 August 2006. According to Victoria Nuland, spokeswoman for the US State Department, General Ntaganda has “specifically asked to be transferred to the ICC in The Hague.””
