Hungary Urges Balkan EU Entry

"The willingness of the European Union to embrace the fragile democracies in the Balkans is weaker than at any time in the past 15 years, Prime Minister Viktor Orban of Hungary said Thursday as he appealed for renewed commitment from the bloc’s bigger nations to its expansion. Seven years after Hungary joined the European Union, the country holds its rotating presidency, and Mr. Orban said he hoped to use the rest of his mandate, which runs through June, to ease opposition to the further enlargement of the bloc"
